| This is a 69 El Camino SS that the previous owner decided to strip of all of it's good SS stuff and put it on his Plain Jane 69 Chevelle to make a nice "clone car". The reasoning behind some peoples thinking....Anyway, my thoughts were to restore it to its original glory days with a big block and 4 speed. I started gathering the parts needed...new quarter panel, new grill, and a ton of other stuff, so that when I started wot hwork on it I would have everything I needed. Well as life would have it, I got laid off, and had to sacrifice it for less then half of what I had tied up into parts alone, so I'd have some extra money...but hey, that's the way it goes sometimes. Life is still a great thing! |
